Dear Band and Color Guard,
Congratulations to the band for earning straight 1s at Region UIL. This week, the full band rehearses Monday (6:30-9PM), Wednesday (3-5:30PM) and Thursday (3-5:30PM) with a game Friday against Clear Falls High School at Veteran's Memorial Stadium. On Saturday, the UIL Area Marching Contest will be at Challenger Columbia Stadium, and the directors will send details about Saturday once they are available. Looking ahead to the area contest on Saturday, the CLHS band is responsible for spectator parking from 8AM to midnight, which means we need a lot of volunteer help. To make the experience slightly less painful, the shifts are split into two-hour intervals. Please, please help out if at all possible and sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f49a9ab22aafa7-uilarea Thank you to the awesome parents who took home uniforms to wash this weekend; please return Monday to the band hall. PLEASE read the band council information below for details about Halloween practice and an event at Bay Area Park on November 10.
