Chaperoning on Saturday

Band and Color Guard Parents,

You should have already received an email regarding the football game changing to Saturday at 1pm at Challenger Columbia Stadium.  If you signed up to help chaperone and need to change, please send me an email at [email protected].  Or if you couldn't help tonight, but you can help tomorrow, please let me know that also.  For those riding the bus, please meet in the lobby tomorrow morning at 11:15.  For those helping with game meals - yes, they will be having pizza at 10:30, so helpers should arrive by 10:15.  As you can imagine, we are scrambling to make changes, so we're not quite sure yet about filling the coolers with ice.  If we can get into the place to get ice at the school, that will be at 10:00.  If you signed up to help with ice, please plan on that, but we will send another email to you if that changes.  If you are able to help get ice in the coolers now, please let me know, because we still needed more help with this task this week.  I attached the chaperone list again so that you can see what you signed up for and let me know of any changes.

Thank you to those parents who have signed up to help with chaperoning this week.   Attached is the list that I have collected for the week.  If you signed up for loading ice in the coolers, please arrive at 2:45 with Ruth Soisson.  We could use several more helpers for getting ice in the coolers.  If you are available to help and you haven't yet, please let me know.  If you signed up to help with Game Meals, please arrive at 3:30 in the Commons.  If you're riding a bus, please arrive at 4:45 in the front lobby of the school.  The game is at 7:00 at Challenger Columbia Stadium.

Plumes!!
This year instead of asking for help with plumes before every game, we are going to have a Plume Team. This will insure that we have the job covered for every game and contest on the schedule. Given the delicate nature of the plumes, it will also give us the opportunity to train the team, in advance, on how to properly handle and pass out plumes, which will hopefully help them last longer. Several of our awesome band parents have already agreed to be on the team to pass out plumes for the remainder of the games and contests that are on the calendar. Thanks to those of you who have volunteered to be members of our new Plume Team, we already have a full team!
