Call for future Booster Parents!

If you've hesitated to participate in the CLHS Band Booster Club, now's the time to step up! As we move into the second half of the school year, know that some of our dedicated booster parents will be moving on as their students move on and we need you to fill in those gaps. The more people we have, the easier it is to manage our events and our fundraisers which cover a significant portion of our program include uniforms, props, and music. We're already starting discussions for next year's program so the sooner you join the smoother the transition will be into next year.

Megaband looms again!

Our annual Megband is right around the corner! Alll students grades 8-11 zoned to Lake will gather on Saturday, January 31st to learn some new music, get to know one another, and perform for parents at the end. We will get a sneak peak of the 2026 marching production.

Save the Date - Bites at the Lake 2026

The Clear Lake High School Falcon Band and Booster Club invites you to join us for the 2026 Bites at the Lake on Thursday, February 19th from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Clear Lake High School. Invite your friends, family, and everyone else you know to join us. Bites at the Lake was fantastic in 2025 and we want to share this amazing event with our community.

Mattress Sale - February 28th

The annual Clear Lake High School Music Program Mattress Sale will be held on February 28th from 10am-5pm. More details available here.

Gulf Coast Classic 3rd Place Win!

The band had their strongest performance of "Moonlight's Call" on Saturday ight and brought home the bronze for 3rd place overall in a very strong field of great bands. We are extremely proud of these young performers!

Clear Lake Advances to UIL Area

The band had their best run of "Moonlight's Call" to date at this year's Region UIL competition receiving straight ones to advance to Area Marching Contest on October 25th. This contest will be our biggest of the year and will determine if we advance to the ultimate competitive goal, the UIL State Marching Contest. Schedule will be coming soon! Pics in photo gallery!

History Made at Bands of America 2025!

Huge congratulations to the Falcon Band for advancing to BOA Finals for the first time since 1997! The band placed 3rd in Class 3A and 11th overall in a completely stacked competition. We are extremely proud of these young performers and look forward to working with them to polish and adjust to get “Moonlight’s Call” as effective as it can be for the remaining competitions.

Clear Lake Takes First at USBands!

The band and color guard placed 1st out of 20 bands, as well as placing first in almost all captions including color guard, general effect, visual effect, and music effect at the USBands Houston Regional on Saturday. A huge congratulations to these students for having two great performances. It was a well-deserved award for their incredible hard work and dedication!

Region Jazz Audition Success!

Congratulations to Daniel Cervantes, Andrew Stiles, Thomas Owens, and Luca Giannetti for making Region Jazz! Daniel and Andrew advanced to Area and Daniel and was placed first chair in the entire region. These students will perform with the best in Region 17 at the Region Jazz Clinic Concert on November 13th and 14th.

Lake Rises to the Top with 6th Place Win at Area

It was a long wet day but, with our strongest Area performance in 12 years, the Clear Lake band went up against 28 competitors to come out 6th overall. While it was one spot shy of taking us to State, all of the parents and directors are extremely proud of the hard work everyone has put in this year. You can see our show one last time at this Friday's (11/08/24) football game.
