Game Day @ Brazoswood 10/29 &
Area Marching Contest 10/30
This week we have the AWAY game against Brazoswood on FRIDAY as well as AREA COMPETITION on Saturday. The buses will still leave at the regularly scheduled time (meeting at 445 at front of the school) and the band will perform halftime as usual; and then they have been given permission to head home after halftime in prep for AREA on Saturday. Meals will be at regular time on Friday, meeting at 3PM. Thank you to all the parents who help out but a key thank you to those who are able to chaperone on the buses; if you want to give this a try b/c you don’t want to drive, let me know! I am happy to find a spot for you and teach you the simple things we do. The jotform is below…..
SATURDAY we have AREA Contest at Challenger Columbia Stadium. The instrument and prop trucks are likely to be in the same area as previously and I suspect the buses will be where they were at UIL competition. The schedule for the day is on the Band Buzz. The bus chaperones will meet b/t 810AM and 815AM to get ready for timely departure with the band to get to the stadium. The canopies were super awesome to have this past weekend so if you don’t mind letting us borrow them one more time, it would be great. Any extra space to keep out of the sun is very welcomed. The weather is predicted to be amazing; fingers crossed for a beautiful day this coming Saturday. It will be quite a long day (hopefully for finals) so we will need help with food throughout the day. Luckily we are close to home so please feel free to help and then come and go as you need to. Meal times will be sent out later this week. The jotform to sign up to volunteer is below…..
